10/23/13

8 months.

+ weight: 21 lbs. Big boy!

+ health: He has been teething. So far it hasn't been too bad, just irritating every so often.

+ sleep: Great sleeper! He's been getting tired a little earlier lately, but I think that is because of teething.
+ diet: Formula and baby food. He has had a few solids like beans and rice. He loved them, of course.

+ crying: He get a little whiny when his mouth is sore, but other than that he's a happy kid.
+ clothes: He is in 9 months. He's so chubby, it's too cute.
+ baby gear love: He loves to eat his little treat out of a bowl. He is so entertained by reaching in and grabbing them himself. He's pretty content putting things in and out of that bowl, who has time for toys?
+ social: He's at that age where he's realized there are other kids around. This has made him a little shy. He could just sit there and watch other people all day. He's become a little clingy to mama. Lately, he needs to be reassured that I'm close by.
+ milestones: He is starting to realized that he's supposed to be mobile. He will kick his legs and arms and wonder why he's still in the same place. He ends up scooting in a circle and get a little frustrating. It's only a matter of time until I'm chasing after him, so I say he should take his time learning to crawl!

orange pumpkins and blue skies.

October has to be one of my favorite months. Not only because it's officially sweater weather, boot weather, and pumpkin bread season (which all add to my love) but because it is a month full of family traditions. Having my son in my life makes this month that much better. I love that we get to start autumn traditions as a little family. Pumpkins patches, corn mazes, costumes, and snuggling on the couch on cold days are a little bit sweeter this year with my son by my side.

7 months

Let's be honest, I completely dropped the ball on the seven month picture. With us being in New Jersey and coming home into full fledged essay and quiz chaos, the seven month picture slipped away with the month of September. But hey, these photos definitely do the job, I'd say. Sorry they are a little blurry and for the cell phone quality!

+ weight: 19 LBS!

+ health: Healthy BIG boy!

+ sleep: Awesome sleeper. Finally! He will sleep from 9:00 until 8:30. It's amazing.
+ diet: Formula and baby food. He just started baby crackers. He loves those things.

+ crying: He's a fairly happy kid. He has his fake cry down and knows how to use it!
+ clothes: He is right between 6 and 9 months. He is such a chub. I love his little rolls.
+ baby gear love: He has a little mirror he loves to make faces in. He thinks he's pretty hilarious.
+ social: He is a flirt! He loves to smile and just watch people. He loves being in public and people watch.
+ milestones: He sits like a champ. He is getting pretty good at using his thumb and pointer finger to pick up little treats.

He is so full of personality and loves to show it! It just gets more and more fun the older he gets. Being his mom is pretty awesome, I'm pretty dang lucky.

kabalan family reunion 2013

Now that we've been home from the east cost for. . . . let's just say a while, I'd say it's about time to share the photos! It was awesome to have everyone together and I loved seeing Liam with family. Being a Utah girl, born and raised, I haven't seen much of anywhere really besides these Utah mountains. Seeing and experiencing New Jersey and New York I can honestly say I cannot wait to travel and live in different parts of the world! We loved the city, NYC is seriously amazing and the Stone Harbor sandy beach is beautiful!
