print baby onsie

This is a super easy project and one of my favorites. I love being able to give any onsie a bit of personality. Since Liam is still on the small side, it's hard to find clothes that fit him. This gives me a way to dress him with out sticking to plain white onsies.

What you'll need:
-exacto knife
-fabric paint (you can get this from Micheal's craft store)
-freezer paper
-print out that you want on your onsie
-foam paint brush
-iron

1. Print out your picture you would like on your onsie.
2. Trace print onto freezer paper.
3. Cut out trace with exacto knife to make your stencil.

4. Iron cut out onto onsie, make sure you ironed the edges well. You don't want paint to bleed!
5. Paint over stencil.
6. Let dry. I like to let mine dry over night.
7. Pull stencil off and you have your print onsie!
*(make sure you wash them alone the first time before you wash them normally with your other loads)

lazy days.

We had a bit of a rough day/night. Because Liam was premature we had to wait until he was strong enough to get circumcised. (ouch) So you can imagine he isn't feeling 100% Breaks my heart! Looks like today is going to be full of cuddles, movies, and relaxing. No complaints here! I love my little man.

one month.

weight: when we went to the doctors last week he finally hit 6 lbs! we will find out what he weighs now tomorrow.
health: he tends to get a stuffy nose at night, so sad!, and because he is eating formula he has been a little constipated, other than that he is doing so well! healthy little boy!
sleep: he gets up about 3 times a night right now. we are slowly getting on a schedule.
diet: right now he is about half breast milk, half formula. because he was in the hospital at first, he had to feed out of a bottle, this meant having to teach him to breast feed. he has gotten so much better but i think he is determined to be a bottle baby.
crying: because of the constipation he gets a little cranky. poor guy! but he really is the happiest, calmest baby.
clothes: nothing fits him! he is too small for newborn and it's so hard to find preemie clothing. he pretty much lives in onesies right now.
baby gear love: he love love loves his binky (better than sucking his thumb, right?) he also loves his carseat. he loves his swing  but the moment you but him in his carseat he passes out.
social: we have to limit how much we take him out but he has had plenty of visitors. he loves to try and focus on people talking and take in all his surroundings.
likes: he loves to be held. as long as he's being cuddled he'll be content all day.
postpartum: feeling pretty good. recovery was pretty fast for me.
milestones: he is awake a lot more now. i love watching him look around and explore his surroundings. he loves to smile! it's so cute seeing that toothless smile.

don't worry, we didn't forget our green today! (thanks great grandpa and grandma for the shirt!)

quick catch up.

Yay for having internet back on! Just a quick catch up before I hit the hay. The past couple weeks have been pretty crazy between Kristofer finishing training at work, moving, and bringing Liam Beck home. West Jordan is treating us well. I love being so close to family and it's definitely nice to be by more than "this Wal-mart and that Wal-mart." (I now get my Target trips back!) Though I do find myself missing Logan during the day. Mostly the people. (you know who you are!) Liam is doing awesome! He finally hit 6 pounds and is eating like a champ. That boy loves to eat. He is becoming more active and is starting to stay awake for longer periods during the day. It's so much fun watching him look around and take in his surroundings. I absolutely love our little family!

Had to add this one. haha! ^^^
